Priscilla Dunstan
Priscilla Dunstan discovered her profound ability to interpret sound patterns as a child. Her parents called it her “photographic memory of sounds and voices.” This interesting ability allowed her to excel as a musician and also led her to discover what you’re probably here to learn, baby language. It started when she had a baby boy. With her natural instincts both as a mother and a sound expert, she was able to recognize sound patterns her baby made.
At first, Priscilla Dunstan thought that only her baby exhibited these sound patterns. However, she came across other babies of different nationalities who made similar sounds. This sparked her interest for the study of baby sounds. Dunstan then researched with the help of a sound expert team. They found that all babies naturally make certain sounds in certain situations as reflexes. Priscilla called this a universal “baby language.”
This was the foundation for the Dunstan Baby Language DVD. In this program, Priscilla Dunstan teaches the language of babies. Along with in-depth explanations, examples of the different sounds babies make are played for learners to understand and become familiar with. Once parents learn to recognize these sounds, they can understand each time why their baby is crying. When her DVD began to become well known all around, Priscilla Dunstan was invited to talk about baby language on Oprah.
The show was a success for Dunstan Baby Langauge. Many parents saw the show and realized the usefulness of the program. Click Here for more information on Dunstan Baby Language.
